16 Apr Rise Up, Daughters of Abraham!
And a certain woman, which had an issue of blood twelve years, and had suffered many things of many physicians, and had spent all that she had, and was nothing bettered, but rather grew worse, when she had heard of Jesus, came in the press behind, and touched his garment. For she said, If I may touch but his clothes, I shall be whole. And straightway the fountain of her blood was dried up; and she felt in her body that she was healed of that plague. And Jesus, immediately knowing in himself that virtue had gone out of him, turned him about in the press, and said, Who touched my clothes? And his disciples said unto him, Thou seest the multitude thronging thee, and sayest thou, Who touched me? And he looked round about to see her that had done this thing. But the woman fearing and trembling, knowing what was done in her, came and fell down before him, and told him all the truth. And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague.
The Seed of Abraham knows how to get what they need from God. Never expect to receive anything from God being fearful, having a pity party, depressed and down in your spirit. Abraham’s Daughters are happy and are constantly praising God. They rejoice, thinking on all that HE has done in their lives. They have learned to press their way in the midst of the fire until something happens.
Daughters of Abraham uses their faith to reach God and to receive what they need from Him. They know exactly how to get His attention. Faith moves God to make the whole in every area of their lives. When the Daughters of Abraham reaches God, He blesses them. If you want to touch Him, leave the earth… leave pain, heartaches and troubles behind. The Daughters of Abraham are very wise and they know how to invoke God to move on their behalf.
This woman, in Mark 5, was a Daughter of Abraham. Although she’d spent everything she had seeking a cure for her condition, her sickness worsened. Nevertheless, she heard about Jesus and believed in Him. She said, “If I could just touch the hem of His garment, I will be made whole.”
Her faith and her words brought her what she needed from the Lord. She didn’t stand still feeling sorry for herself but she kept working her faith and pressing her way until she touched Him. When you touch God something happens. No matter what takes place in your life, you have to know who you are.
Daughters of Abraham have a rich mind-set. They walk, talk and think rich and never look at their circumstances. Jesus immediately knew that faith had touched Him. He knew that it was a Daughter because it pulled something out of Him. “He said, “Who touched me?” There was something different about the touch of the Daughter of Abraham. She is special in the eyes of Christ.
