I get sad to see people I know aren’t going to get to the place where God wants them to be. I ask myself, ‘Why aren’t people being blessed like they should be? …even though the scriptures tell you what you’re supposed to have?’ It’s because they don’t have the foundation they need. It hasn’t been laid.

As the saints of Christ, we’re supposed to be glad in the Lord, but to all who don’t want to obey – to those who want to be sad on a constant basis – you’re going to miss it. It’s time to prepare for your overflow and increase. The first great commandment of the Lord is to love Him with all your heart, mind, soul… with everything in you! Before you can receive your overflow, you need to have the foundation established. It means that first, He has to have your heart, your mind, and everything that is pure in you.
A lot of you are missing your overflow because you haven’t learned to love your neighbor as yourself (Luke 10:27). If you wouldn’t do certain things to yourself, then why would you do them to your neighbor? Establish your foundation. It’s like building a house – you need to pour the concrete, level everything out, and make sure it’s set before you start to build or your house won’t stand. Love the Lord thy God with everything in you, and love your neighbor as yourself, and God promises you won’t miss your overflow.
You can see your neighbor but you’ve never seen Christ, so how can you love God but neglect to love your neighbor? How can you sit and gossip with your neighbor about your neighbor – and you’re supposed to be saved?! There’s something wrong with that. Love the lord with all thy heart and soul.

Matthew 22:37-39
Jesus said unto him,Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself.
