21 May Light of the World
Remember, we give life to whatever we want but it comes from within us because we are the light of the world. “Ye are the light of the world. A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid. Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven” (Matthew 5:14,16). If you want something to grow, shine light on it. “But all things that are reproved are made manifest by the light: for whatsoever doth make manifest is light.Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light” (Ephesians 5:13-14). Give thanks for your dream and for Salvation. It shall be as it was told to you. “Speaking to yourselves in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord;Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ” (Ephesians 5:19-20).
If you are stumbling or asleep, arise. You can’t go forth without the light. You have to speak to yourself in spiritual songs. Singing and making melody in your heart to the Lord. You have to have a thankful heart; always giving thanks for everything, always praying and praising God. Also, God has to know you love Him. “But Christ as a son over his own house; whose house are we, if we hold fast the confidence and the rejoicing of the hope firm unto the end. Wherefore (as the Holy Ghost saith, Today if ye will hear his voice, Harden not your hearts, as in the provocation, in the day of temptation in the wilderness: When your fathers tempted me, proved me, and saw my works forty years. Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do always err in their heart; and they have not known my ways. So I sware in my wrath, They shall not enter into my rest.) Take heed, brethren, lest there be in any of you an evil heart of unbelief, in departing from the living God. But exhort one another daily, while it is called Today; lest any of you be hardened through the deceitfulness of sin. For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence steadfast unto the end” (Hebrews 3:6-14).
You have to make a choice and allow God to be in control. “For none of us liveth to himself, and no man dieth to himself. For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord’s. For to this end Christ both died, and rose, and revived, that he might be Lord both of the dead and living,” (Romans 14:7-9). We have to have confidence in His Word until the end or until we receive our promise, our blessings. In the day of provocation when you have trials, don’t complain; go through. God is well able to bring you out. You have to rest assured that you will reap if you faint not (Galatians 6:9). If you want to enter into Christ rest, you have to believe until the end, that the work has already been laid before the foundation of the world.
