Going to the Heavens

17 Oct Going to the Heavens

Imagine streets of gold and jewels, leading to angels waiting at the gates of Heaven. The sounds of trumpets and harps of brass can be heard as these angelic figures in robes of pearl and white, sing a heavenly tune. Imagine being able to leave the vastness of the Earth and go to this Heavenly place all the time. We are able to go to this place of serenity every time we praise God from a Pure and a True heart.
Psalms 24: 7-9 says “Lift up your heads ye people, be lifted up ye people, and the King of Glory shall come in. The King of Glory is the Lord who is strong and mighty in battle, ye everlasting doors, and the King of Glory shall come in.
Going to the Heavens requires a spiritual rest. It requires your mind to be blank and at peace. In this state, true praise comes into our hearts and God deals bountifully with us (Psalms 13:6). Bountifully is defined as given or provided for abundantly, being favored, liberal, generous. “Whoso offereth praise glorifieth me: and to him that ordereth his conversation aright will I shew the salvation of God” (Psalms 50:23). When you offer your praise up to the heavens it must glorify God. He must be exalted for who He truly is. “O Lord, open thou my lips and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise,” (Psalms 51:15).
