Glory in knowing God

15 Aug Glory in knowing God

Be careful of what you value. Don’t glory in having money, cars, status, or earned degrees in education; glory in knowing God. “Thus saith the Lord, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: But let him that glorifieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the Lord which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the Lord,” (Jeremiah 9:23-24). God is delighted when we know Him. He desire that we sincerely seek after Him.
“But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you,” (Matthew 6:33).
